“ Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya”
was established in 1st August 1989 at Bhadrawati,
Distt. Chandrapur run by “Vivekanand Dyanpeth Convent warora” , a well known trust founded for progress of the
society. Bhadrawati is a small historical place but it
is backward in educational
history. The chairman of the trust Adv. M.V. Temurde
opened the
doors of higher education for the
welfare of the students in rural area.
The college became popular and received recognition for the standards of excellence. The
College is accrediated by NAAC Bangalore
with the grade C++ . The
college is Parmanently Affiliated to R.T.M. Nagpur
University Nagpur
and to the UGC, New Delhi. The
College provides education in the faculties of Arts & MCVC at the Junior college level B.A,
B.Com, B.B.A, B.C.A, Courses are at Under graduate level , Marathi ,Economics, History,
Sociology, And M.C.M. at post graduate level. P.G.D.C.C.A. one year
course and six months certificate course of Computer application system is started in
the college under oriented courses by
UGC.
The college has study center of Yashwantrao Chauhan Maharashtra Open
University
(YCMOU) B.A., B.Com Courser are running under the
center. Altogether more than
1100 Student are
Studing in the college.
